Pyper is scheduled to co-star in the Hallmark Movie Channel original "Hannah's Law" premiering Saturday, June 9 at 8 p.m. ET/PT, 7C. The movie stars Sara Canning, Danny Glover, Billy Zane and John Pyper-Ferguson as Frank McMurphy. From orphan to bounty hunter, tough-minded Hannah Beaumont doesn't take lip from anyone. Only in her mid-twenties, Hannah is driven by a soul-consuming mission to track down and bring to justice the McMurphy gang who brutally murdered her parents and young brother.
The latest regarding Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome, according to Deadline Hollywood: Blood and Chrome will be a web series as originally planned, but not a television series. The 90 minute pilot movie will eventually air on SyFy.
Pyper recently made several appearances in the Canadian series "Less than Kind", which airs on HBO Canada and Direct TV's Audience Network in the states.
Pyper recently appeared in an episode of the new NBC drama "The Firm", based on the John Grisham novel. The episode is entitled Chapter Eleven and can be viewed on Hulu.
John Pyper-Ferguson is an incredibly talented character actor with a very extensive CV. First appearing on the scene in 1986 in Canadian television series Hamilton's Quest, he has since gone on to appear in numerous movies as well as almost countless television appearances.
